BeoLink Converter type 1611> MasterLink Audio including cables. This BeoLink will be supplied with a MasterLink cable, power cord and a PowerLink (7-pin). The BeoLink Converter is used to connect an audio and video system, where one system is based on MasterLink and the other system on Datalink (Audio Aux Link). The BeoLink Converter can be used with both an audiomaster and a videomaster. This handy device performs two functions. The first is to let a B&O audio system with only audio-AUX-link (7-pin) (for example the BeoCenter 9500 or the BeoSystem 7000) communicate with a MasterLink product, like the BeoLink Passive. Secondly, a BeoVision TV with an ML connection (for example BeoVision 1, BeoVision Avant) can be connected to products via an audio-AUX-link. Communication and conversion take place in both directions and both data and audio are covered. The unit itself looks like a small black metal box and needs mains power to work. The BeoLink Converter has auto configuration. This means that this can automatically decide whether it is in a MasterLink video system or in a MasterLink audio system. Configuration takes place after the power cord connection. The BeoLink Converter can also be used as an ML driver*. This means that it is possible to for example connect a BeoCenter 2300 via the BeoLink Converter to the MasterLink, so the sound is transmitted to all products in the secondary room. The BeoLink Converters are used in compatible setups.
