Fortunato Depero was born in 1892. He moved to Rovereto. In 1913 he was in Rome, where he met Balla and Marinetti. In 1915 he signed the Manifesto di Ricostruzione Futurista dell’Universo. In 1919 he inaugurated the “Casa d’Arte Futurista Depero”. Since 1925 he has participated in major exhibitions. In 1927 he published Depero-Dinamo Azari, a bolted book. In 1928 he was in New York city where he exhibited and worked as a set designer and publicist. In 1930 he returned to Italy: "I Quadriennale Nazionale d'Arte", Venice Biennale, V Triennale di Milano. In 1950 he published the Manifesto della Pittura e Plastica Nucleare. In the last years he dedicated himself to his museum. He died in 1960.
