François Hers / Sophie Ristelhueber - Intérieurs - 1981

The book is divided into two parts, the first are colour interiors (by Hers), and the second are black & white photographs of the occupants (by Ristelhueber). Originally commissioned to document social housing in Wallonia and seeing a lack of coherence in the housing stock, Hers instead chose to focus in the interiors, and their saturation of space with patterns, furniture, objects and tapestries.
