This curious machine is a collector’s item, a Smith Premier No 10 made in United States at the beginning of the 20th century (c.1910). It has seven lines of keyboard and 84 characters. It has separate keys for uppercase (black) and for lowercase (white). At the time of its creation, it was considered to be a model of high quality and efficiency given the visible scripture that it enabled. Smith Premier typewriters were produced by the weapon factory LC Smith & Brothers, located in Syracuse, New York (USA). Its creator was the engineer Alexander Brown. In 1889, the company launched the first Smith Premier. Model No 10 appeared in 1908. This amazing typewriter SP No10 is a museum piece due to its unique design and antiquity. It will be the star of any valuable collection. Working condition but in need of a restoration.
