An enigmatic and unusual Parthian stone anthropomorphic figurine. The stone seems to be carved in the shape of a foot, displaying a male face with long beard on the ankle. The item comes with an original note from Professor W. G. Lambert.
Parthia is the historical region located in north-eastern Iran. Parthian art has a rich art heritage and encompassed a variety of media including architecture, painting, weaving, pottery, calligraphy, metalworking and sculpture.
