Frantoio Galantino is located in the centre of Puglia among churches, monuments, trulli and castles. It is a land of centuries-old olive groves, crossed by tractors and ‘Oil Roads’. It is the region with the highest production of extra virgin olive oil in the world.
Frantoio Galantino is located on the outskirts of Bisceglie, a lovely town of medieval origin overlooking the Adriatic Sea, a perfect place for the cultivation of olive trees, but also a coveted tourist destination, an entertainment centre and important archaeological site.
Galantino ceramics are hand-made by experienced craftsmen from Puglia. They are unique and unrepeatable pieces because they are entirely hand-painted. The names of the orcio jars are (left to right):
Galantino extra virgin olive oil, produced with the method of the stone mill pressing, is obtained through cold extraction from selected olives of the typical varieties Coratina and Ogliarola, both of Puglia. Its scent and balanced flavour, combined with the very low acidity, make it an exceptional oil for raw toppings; used in the kitchen gives taste and digestibility to foods.
Ideal for balanced dishes, salads, soups, risottos, sauces. Also great for cooking and frying.
