Original woodblock print Utagawa Kunisada ( 歌 川 国 貞 ) also known as Utagawa Toyokuni III ( 三代 歌 川 豊 国 ) 178§-1865.
It is a yakusha-e or actor print with a scene from the kabuki play "Rensho monogotari" performed in Edo at the Kawarasaki theater with the actor Ichikawa Ebizo V as Kumagai Nyudo.
The print was published in 1852 (Kaei 05) 3rd month with double nanushi censorship stamps from Mera & Watanabe 米 良, 渡邊, and an oval date stamp, and shita-uri シタ売 stamp.
