Lovely chess set in solid silver (915 millesimal fineness), Egyptians vs. Africans - Signed URA, circa 1974, with case. Beautifully carved by URA House. The craftsman recreated a set of grey and black tones with acid, creating a variety of lights and shadows. Finely detailed, giving the figures of this unique chess set a realistic image. Solid pieces in 915 silver, WITHOUT FILLING inside (you can see the picture of the base of one of the pawns). The base of the board is made of square silver pieces, of the same fineness as the figures, and is framed in solid hardwood.
There are two hallmarks in each figure (see pictures).
Private origin.
Perfectly preserved, without flaws, cracks or repairs.
The weight of the set is 3.5 kg - 7.72 lbs (see picture). Dimensions of the board: 34.5 x 34.5 cm (13.58 in x 13.58 in).
