For Sale is a Spiked Prussian helmet or Pickelhaube, model 1895. Leather cap, visor and neck guard with brass spike and trimmings. The badge to the front is made of stamped brass and shows the eagle for the Prussian Imperial Forces. Leather chinstrap and interior headdress. The cockades on the left and right are both present. Black, White, Black for Prussia on the left and Black, White, Red Reichs-Kokarde on the right. The neck guard is stamped on the inside with JR 53 for Infantry Regiment 53, part of the 5th Westphalian Division. It is also stamped with the date 1914 Exceptional condition as shown in the photos. Only minor cracking mainly to the visor. This is a genuine helmet. I will always post by 1st class recorded mail.
