Unique hardhat from the 70s. On behalf of among others employees of oil and mining industries the famous atelier Tom’s Silver from Yogya make these safety helmets from aluminium. The helmets were personalized with designs at the discretion of the owner. The helmet is also engraved with the name of the owner at the time, G.A. de Jong and fully decorated in the Jogja silver style, decorations of which can be found on local silver. The representations are wayang figures, dragons and flower motifs. The helmet is made in Yogjakarta by a well known maker of Jogja Silver: Tom silver Yogya. This is also embossed at the top in the floral pattern.
